EXPERT ADVICE: I have been capturing “I Dos” for many years, and it never gets old. I love love. For elopements, I offer expert advice on locations, permits (if required), as well as vendor recommendations for hair and makeup and officiants. My assistant and I have also served as witnesses before for celebrations. Specifically for micro-weddings and DIY weddings, I offer recommendations for lighting and location set-up to ensure the best photography!
FILM PHOTOGRAPHY: I learned how to take photos using film photography! I was a huge fan of Fuji film and often shot slide film for nature and landscape photos. I quickly branched out into film for people, but when digital photography hit, I jumped on that train and have not regretted it. However, there is something really special about film photos, especially when it comes to love, so I have built film photography add-ons for any celebration package. I shoot with a Pentax K1000 and Nikon N80 film camera, usually with Kodak Portra Film or Fuji Film. If you choose this option, we can discuss the limitations and benefits of adding film to your wedding day celebration! This is an add-on to any wedding collection. SOME VIDEO SERVICES: I see the world in still photos, but I do have a partner who offers a video service where he captures the ceremony (he mics the couple and officiant) and romantic photos (couples photos) and turns it into a 3-6 minute highlight video. This is an add-on to any wedding collection.
PROPOSAL PHOTOS: Proposing can be intimidating and nerve-wracking, but I’ve got you! I help plan and execute proposals locally and abroad (I have done one in Paris!). If you are considering proposing in Tucson, I am your go-to gal for all the expert advice, creating a stress-free experience (as much as possible, since you are, after all, proposing, which can create some nerves!).
ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS: An engagement session is a great way for us to get to know each other before the wedding. One can be added to any hourly collection, but it is included in full wedding packages. So if you’re reaching out about just an engagement session, consider booking me for the whole wedding! I also do destination and adventure engagement sessions – let’s get wild and go somewhere cool!
BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY: For the bride-to-be looking to gift something very special to their fiancé, this is a fabulous add-on to any celebration. I offer sessions in my home studio, and they are discreet, sexy, and body-positive. Check out my boudoir website for more!
CONSULTATION AND PLANNING: I love getting to know you and your fiancé through the entire planning process! Every booked event comes with at least 2 phone calls, several questionnaires, and also an option for an in-person get-together to plan the celebration details. On-site venue visits are available for full wedding packages.
TRAVEL: Travel is my spirit animal (if that is possible), but locally I also love to explore. For celebrations in Arizona, I travel within an hour of Tucson with no additional travel fees. I also travel EVERYWHERE for a nominal travel fee. Destination weddings are SO incredible and I have done them most recently in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Colorado, but in the past have lived in and traveled back to many places and thus have photographed weddings in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Alabama, New York, Washington DC, and even The Netherlands (yes really!), I have also captured proposals and engagement sessions in some pretty cool places – including Paris!
WHO TAKES THE PHOTOS: I often shoot solo, but will have an assistant with me to help with lighting, who also will sometimes back me up with shooting the ceremony and some other parts of the day. But this is not guaranteed. I have been shooting solo weddings for most of my career, and I never miss a moment!
PRICING: I specialize in elopement and micro wedding photography, and find that an hourly rate works best for these celebrations. I also have several packages that cover celebrations from 6-9 hours and up. Use the contact form on my home page to inquire about your date and full price guide!
